Tips for Study Tour Organizers
Choose an educational guide. Make sure the guide accompanying visits to historical sites can genuinely tell a story — not just recite facts. That’s what separates a boring tour from a memorable one.
Limit the number of destinations. Four to five destinations fully enjoyed beat 8 to 10 spots rushed through in a few minutes each.
Prepare observation sheets. To add academic value, have participants fill out an observation sheet at each destination. This also keeps them more attentive throughout the visit.
Coordinate transport early. Buses for large groups need to be booked well in advance, especially during school holiday season.
